Akiva Alumni in the Maccabiah 2017 games…

Mazel Tov to all our Akiva alumni; Jared Boidman (Class of 2013), Noah Sochaczevski (Class of 2012) and Galia-Oliel-Sabbag (Class of 2016),  who will be participating in the 20th Maccabiah 2017 Games in Israel.


Akiva Alumni in the Jewish Canadian Youth Model United Nations…

Mazel Tov to our Akiva alumni who participated in the Jewish Canadian Youth Model United Nations and to Akiva alumnus Lewis Brandman (Class of 2014) on winning an Honourable Delegate Award!


Akiva Alumni Excel in the Herzliah Science Fair…

Jeremy Abudarham (Class of 2013)
Jeremy won silver in the Herzliah Science Fair for his part in his “Pas d’acides, pas d’accidents” project.

Dana Boretsky & Hayley Langleben (Class of 2016)
Dana and Hayley worked together as a team in the Herzliah Science Fair and won the Physical Science and Mathematics award for their “Plop plop fizz fizz?” project.

Lia Boretsky (Class of 2014)
Lia won silver in the Herzliah Science Fair for her part in the “Build a helping hand” project.

Jenna Kliot (Class of 2014)
Jenna won bronze in the Herzliah Science Fair for her part in the “Strongest Archway” project.

Lea Elkaim (Class of 2013)
Lea won the Engineering Award in the Herzliah Science Fair for her “Pixels by light diffraction” project.

Ian Langleben (Class of 2012)
Ian won silver in the Herzliah Science Fair for his “Smart Arm” project and went on to win in the regional Hydro Quebec competition  “Highest Distinction from McGill University – Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Award, McGill University – School of Computer Science (Robotics) Award and Super Expo-sciences Hydro Québec (SESHQ) Experimentation & Design awards.


Akiva Alumni Shine in the Moot Court Beit Din Competition…

Jonathan Cohen (Class of 2012)
Jonathan was in the winning team in the Herzliah Moot Court Beit Din Competition and will continue on to Houston to compete internationally.

Ian Langleben (Class of 2012)
Ian was in the winning team in the Herzliah Moot Court Beit Din Competition and will continue on to Houston to compete internationally.


Akiva Alumni come out on top in the Chidon Hatanach Regionals…

Jeremy Schachter (Class of 2012)
Jeremy placed 3rd in the Chidon Hatanach Contest grade 9 – 11 division.  He will be moving on to the national level.

Aaron Widman (Class of 2014)
Aaron placed 1st in the Chidon Hatanach Contest grade 9-11 division and will be moving on to the national level.


Akiva Alumni in the Weizman Canada Physics Competition…

Noah Zlotnik (Class of 2012) 
Noah was part of the winning Bialik physics team at the Weizmann Canada Physics Competition and will be going on to Israel to compete in the finals.


Akiva Alumni in the Bialik Seniors After-Dinner Speaking Competition…

Noah Zlotnik (Class of 2012)
Noah was awarded first place winner in the Bialik Seniors After-Dinner Speaking Competition. He will be moving on to represent Bialik at the QAIS Public Speaking Competition.
