Tuesday, December 16th, 2014 – Federation CJA, together with its advocacy partner CIJA, (The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs) hosted a special Chanukah candle lighting ceremony with guests of honour Prime Minister Stephen Harper, his wife Laureen Harper and other Federal Government officials. Akiva students of grade 3 who performed recently at Ogilvy’s were invited to participate as part of this ceremony and performed beautifully.
