This week, Akiva School held our annual Francofête celebration of French language and culture. This year, the school was transformed into an educational universe filled with science, space and special surprises as the students delved into the explorations of French author Jules Verne. As part of our learning about the wonders of space, Akiva School welcomed MP Marc Garneau who visited the school to speak with students about his experiences as an astronaut aboard the NASA space shuttle.
